This short movie was the first work of Aleksandr Kajdanovsky as a director, unfortunately much known for his acting career. 　　He wrote the script in just one night, based on the short story "The garden of forking paths" by Jorge Luis Borges. 　　There was always something mysterious and tragic about him, as a preview of his premature death. 　　He rejected conventionalisms, and opened his soul just with the ones he really loved. 　　Friends said that "Aleksandr was like an antenna, he could catch every signal of hypocrisy". 　　Maybe that's why he left just a few people to get into his inner world, without still being a loner as he always was.

六个特立独行难以归类的人，被关在一间黑屋子里，烛光中，他们试图用语言来阐述生命中一些深刻的经历或对世界的模糊认知，陪伴他们的还有隐约的猫叫声，他们的表述没有主题，唯一的游戏规则是不可打断他人。 　　拍前设想的是，这个短片只是三分之一部分，是前引。接下来还会分别在2011年，2012年持续跟踪记录六个人的生存状态和内心世界的转折变迁，我想用实验的手段去记录人物内心，去发掘那些肉眼看不到但埋藏在我们内心深处的恐惧与绝望，或者一缕不曾泯灭的人性光芒。

Este retrato fílmico del escritor nos permite seguir su imagen a través de la ciudad que tanto amó, y a la que definió en uno de sus versos más conocidos: …“No nos une el amor, sino el espanto; / será por eso que la quiero tanto.” Anibal Troilo y Astor Piazzola enmarcan con su música ciudadana éste documental que en los anos 1975-7 filmara el realizador argentino Adolfo García Videla. La idea de éste testimonio fue inspirado por el mismo Jorge Luís Borges quien, apesadumbrado por la agonía y muerte de su madre sólo deseaba pasear por Buenos Aires, por sus recuerdos.
